With just a couple simple measurements, you'll be able to calculate how much Mulch you'll need for your planter beds. (Repeat for Multiple Beds)
1). Measure the length of your Mulch Bed
2). Measure the width of your Mulch Bed
3). Multiply both measurements to determine your total square feet. (Use this for Fabric if needed)
4). Take your total square footage and multiply by the desired depth. We recommend a 4"-6" application (4" depth use .33 - 6" depth use .5)
5). Take that number and divide by 27, that will give you you total cubic yards needed.
- Cubic Yard Formula -
Length x Width x Depth /27 = Cuyds
